VELA

Based in Manchester, UK, VELA is the culmination of over two decades immersed in the evolution of electronic music. The project represents a transition from the DJ booth to a deep exploration of the studio, where modular synthesis and atmospheric soundscapes take center stage.

The VELA sound is a study in contrasts: industrial textures meeting analog warmth, and hypnotic rhythms anchored by cinematic melodies. Drawing inspiration from the vastness of the cosmic landscapes that share its name, the music is designed as a journey—navigating the deeper, melodic realms of Progressive House and Electronica.

With a consistent and growing discography, VELA has seen releases and remixes on respected imprints including Morphosis Records, Centrik Records, Somnia Records, and Manchester’s own Sequential, with plenty more scheduled for the horizon.
